Kevin Henry has worked at PennWell Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for more than 11 years and currently serves as the editor of Dental Assisting Digest and Proofs, as well as the managing editor of Dental Economics. Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Tulsa and received his master’s degree in communications from The University of Oklahoma.
Thais Carter is the Editor in Chief of Dental Products Report, dentalproductsreport.com and modernhygienist.com, properties of Advanstar Dental Media. Mrs. Carter started with Advanstar five years ago as the New Products Editor for DPR, and went on to help launch Modern Hygienist, serving as the Managing Editor.
A graduate of the Columbia College Chicago magazine journalism program, Mrs. Carter wrote for and worked with several newspapers and niche publications before coming to the dental industry. She firmly believes that “covering” dentistry effectively starts with engaging dentists directly, allowing their voices and needs to shape the content we deliver and how it is delivered.
Benjamin Lund joined Farran Media, LLC, in October 2006 as the Editor for Dentaltown, Hygienetown and Orthotown Magazines. A graduate of Marquette University, Ben began his publishing career as the assistant editor for Building Operating Management magazine, and then as the assistant editor for The Director, the official magazine of the National Funeral Directors Association.
He lives in Chandler, Arizona, with his amazing wife Amanda, beautiful daughters Olivia and Sydney and his highly untrained West Highland White Terriers, Baxter and Winston.
